Title: Choke Cherry Tree
Tools Used: Pencil
Time Taken: Aprox. 45 mins
Size: 11in x 9in paper
I was trying to portray the small Choke Cherry Tree in my front yard: no matter how twisted or dead it seems to look, it will always be beautiful in my eyes

  1. This is really interesting! Honestly, I struggled with my tree drawing and, after several attempts, just went with a sproutling. I didn't dare try something even like this. But you really got it! You can really picture the feel of the bark and the size of the tree. I also love how you've got the leaves coming off of it. It almost looks like a bunch of little cherry blossoms. Unless that is what they are... But either way, it really gives off a sense of serenity and is just overall beautifully depicted.
